dorzolamide 20 mg.

Brief description: Dorzolamide hydrochloride is a carbonic anhydrase II inhibitor.

Suppression of the production of carbonic anhydrase (CA) reduces the production of intraocular fluid, resulting in a decrease in intraocular pressure (IOP).


Additional information:

Drug indication: The drug is prescribed for adult patients with:

  • ophthalmic hypertension;
  • primary open-angle glaucoma;
  • pseudoexfoliative glaucoma;
  • secondary glaucoma (without anterior chamber angle block).

The drug is prescribed for children:

  • for the treatment of glaucoma in children from 1 week in the monotherapy mode or as a supplement to the treatment with beta-blockers.
