Reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with ophthalmic hypertension and primary open-angle glaucoma as monotherapy or in combination with other drugs.
The drug is designed to reduce intraocular pressure and has a neuroprotective effect.
Drug effects: the use of the drug is accompanied by a decrease in intraocular pressure due to a decrease in the production of intraocular fluid. The hypotensive effect of betaxolol is realized both in relation to increased and normal intraocular pressure.
Betaxolin improves ocular blood circulation (perfusion).
Betaxolin does not cause myosis, spasm of accommodation, hemeralopia, the effect of "shroud" in front of the eyes (unlike myotics).
Composition: betaxolol-5.0 mg
Form of production: Eye drops 0.5%. 5 ml each in a bottle with a dropper.
